I love this time of year!  Not only because it snows on my blog (which I still think is cool) but because of the spirit of the season.  The weather, for the most part, is awesome and the decorations always put me in the spirit of Christmas!

I just wanted to take a second to thank all of my clients and their support for this past year.  Each and every one of you have trusted me with your precious moments to capture them forever.  I have heard so many kind words about my work and I appreciate them all!  In the year to come I look forward to meeting many more clients, catching up with current clients and offering many more options to you.  As always, if there are any ideas you have or want me to offer any other products… please let me know!  I will do my best to fulfill your requests.

Please make sure to book any sessions by December 31st in order to lock in the 2010 prices!  This goes for weddings, engagement, bridal, boudoir, family, children, senior… you name it!  Thank you all for your continued support of my personal dream.  You cannot know how much it means to me that you appreciate my work and see the beauty that I do.  May all of you have a safe and happy Holiday Season.

I just realized that I never blogged about the senior shoot that I did with Missy for Carl.  Together Missy and I took over 700 pictures that day.  We had a blast, he was fun to work with and didn’t really object to any of our crazy ideas.  We must have walked about 3 miles that day, we shot in West Monroe down by antique alley all the way up to the tracks and in Monroe all the way from the rail road tracks to the boardwalk.  Here are some of the pics I took that day, there were so many and it’s really hard to choose the best ones.  Enjoy!

Now let me know what you think!  Please!

My Passion

Hey there,

My name is Courtney Sorensen and my passion is photography.  I love taking pictures of people, places, animals, flowers… you name it.  I have always loved taking pictures and trying new techniques.  My friend Missy has been helping feed this little passion of mine lately by letting me help her with her shoots.  I am learning a ton and REALLY appreciate the experience.  Every day we think of new locations, new props and new things to do.

The way I see it is, take as many photos you can today, because it will be gone tomorrow and you can never go back in time to capture that moment forever.  I would love to capture those moments for you.  It may be a new addition to the family, your child growing up, your senior graduating and leaving the nest, your family wedding or your four legged family members.  Any occation or just because, let me give you the memories that will last a lifetime.
